Terms of Service
Welcome to MyHuni.My, a property visitor and resident management platform operated by Nukmans Technology ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using MyHuni.My, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Who Can Use MyHuni.My
MyHuni.My is available to three types of users:
- Management — property managers, JMB, MC, or RA administrators who oversee a residential property.
- Residents — registered residents living within a managed property.
- Guards — security personnel assigned to a property to verify and manage visitor access.
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information when registering for any user type.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Do not share your username or password with anyone. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at nukmans.tech@gmail.com.
3. User Roles & Responsibilities
Each user type has specific responsibilities on the platform.
Management
- May invite residents and guards to the platform on behalf of the property.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of unit and resident records.
- Must ensure visitor and resident data is used solely for property security and management purposes.
- Must not grant platform access to individuals who are not authorised for their assigned role.
- Responsible for obtaining the necessary consents from residents and guards they onboard.
Resident
- May register, manage, and invite visitors using the platform's visitor pass feature.
- Responsible for the visitors they invite — including their conduct while on the property.
- Must provide accurate personal and unit information during registration.
- Must not share visitor access links, QR passes, or credentials with unintended parties.
Guard
- May use the Guard Mobile App to verify, approve, or deny visitor access at the gate.
- Must handle visitor and resident data with care and not disclose it outside of their assigned duties.
- Platform access is limited to features relevant to security operations at their assigned property.
- Must report any suspicious or concerning activity to Management.
4. Acceptable Use
When using MyHuni.My, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Malaysian law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
- Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or any content intended to disrupt the platform.
- Impersonate another person, organisation, or user on the platform.
- Provide false or misleading information during registration or use of the service.
- Use visitor or resident data for any purpose beyond legitimate property security and management.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the platform without authorisation.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, features, and functionality of MyHuni.My are the intellectual property of Nukmans Technology. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
6. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable, high-quality service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. During the Early Access period, features may change frequently as we improve and expand the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Nukmans Technology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, MyHuni.My — including any loss of data, loss of revenue, or security-related incidents outside our reasonable control.
Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid (if any) for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the platform. Specifically:
- Management accounts may be deactivated if the property subscription lapses or is cancelled.
- Resident accounts may be removed by Management at the end of tenancy, or by us for Terms violations.
- Guard accounts will be deactivated upon the end of their assignment or employment at the property.
You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Deletion will be carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of MyHuni.My after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of MyHuni.My shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
